THE INSIDE STORY
THE FRAME
All frames are constructed using only the finest hardwoods available. Although they are assembled using screws and glue along with dowels and corner blocks for extra strength, it must be noted that severe impact may damage the frame.
THE SPRING CONSTRUCTION
With the exception of motion furniture and some contemporary models (where a sag-less format is used) all FERRETTI frames are fitted with a unique Flex-Coil spring unit. The detailed construction of this unit allows for independent suspension and enhanced seating comfort.
THE FOAM
ALL FERRETTI foam is manufactured using an environmentally friendly process void of any ozone depleting CFC's. On occasion there may be a slight variance in the firmness from one cushion to the next. This will gradually disappear with use. The foam is then wrapped with Dacron polyester.
The Renaissance series cushions are filled with real down feathers to offer maximum comfort.
SEWING
Only first quality bonded nylon threads are used by qualified sewing machine operators. Where a double stitch (or baseball stitch) is used, the seam is backed with a cotton ribbon for added strength. Do not pull or move the product by its sewn-on cushions. Doing so may cause considerable damage and is not covered under this warranty.
